Tell us a little bit about yourself.: Hey! Welcome to my “about me” section! Since I’m in a business where I promote health thought networking, I thought it would appropriate to start by explaining my reason for being here.

I once again find myself in a similar situation that i was in 8 years ago... The Network Marketing business. Back in 2003 my uncle showed me and my brothers a business plan. He was new to the industry and kind of sucked at explaining it, but I could see that he understood something that I didn't. I was the only one in my family that actually took an interest....and today I believe that it happened for a reason.
I took it upon myself to figure this business out, so I studied it....a lot. I went to meetings and huge events with thousands of people. I read some amazing books, was very inspired by motivational leaders who delivered great speeches. I was prepared to share this valuble information with anyone seeking it....
But I guess I wasn't ready for what the rest of the world had to share with me. It did not matter how well I understood.
I heard it all...Scam!... Pyramid!... Cult!... wasting your time.... they are taking advantage of you!
Being young non-assertive, and very shy individual my hope of some day making it in this business was over powered by the larger opinion.

A lot of people would view my experience as a failure.... they are right, i did not succeed, but like Thomas A. Edison once said “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
In fact I viewed it as a win. Like I always told my closest friends “ I never once regretted my time in that business. I gained so much more than I ever could of lost.”
And..."there is nothing wrong with the concept of network marketing, except for one major flaw, societies overall view towards the opportunity of making money outside our comfort zone....a job.

I will always remember when Donald Trump was on Leno...Jay Leno asked him what business would he get started in if he "lost it all" ?
he stated network marketing... the crowd laughed, and Donald stated... "that’s why i am sitting up here and you guys are sitting down there..."

I came across Visalus when a couple of months ago when I started jogging. Along with exercise I also wanted to start eating healthy. So when an old friend from high school posted about healthy meal replacements...I was interested in finding out more.
At first it was just for the shakes but I do admit...I kind of had feeling this was part of a network business..and that attracted me even more. So after some info, taste tests, and a couple of mind battles whether or not I should dive back in...but in the end I knew I would some day end up back here.

So that brings me to here and now....what's so different this time?
Well first off, health has become really important for me as I get older. We live in a society that too often we treat rather than prevent. Nutrition was a big factor in my father's health he refused to drink anything but Coca Cola and smoked cigarettes for over 40 years. If a company can profit from selling cancer sticks ...one of the leading causes of deaths in North America. It's one out of many other good reason to offer one of the best health shakes on the market today. My experiences and values has created a dedication to making a positive impact on the life, health and prosperity of everyone I reach.
