There are lot of keyword tools out there with lot of features.
There are keyword tools that give you lot of stats like number of monthly/daily searches, competition, your possibilities to rank in the first page of Google for a specific keyword, etc.
But I think that what some people overlook and that is really crucial when it comes to keyword research is if the keyword is a buying keyword.
In other words, you have to know how likely to buy someone who uses a specific keyword in search engines is.
Microsoft has a very cool keyword tool which tells you this. Probably it is not 100% accurate but it is a good indicator.
Here is an example:

As you can see "train a horse" is not a buying keyword.
Another example:

As you can see "train a dog" is a buying keyword.
Let me explain...
If the Non-Commercial Intention is Above 0.50 or if the Commercial Intention is Below 0.50 it means that it is not a buying keyword - according to Microsoft.
And vise versa, if the Non-Commercial Intention is Below 0.50 or the Commercial Intention is Above 0.50 it means that it is a buying keyword - according to Microsoft.
Isn't it cool?

Now I would like to know what you think about this. Please leave your comments.
